He shows you how

Inside the app, you never read a manual: the first time something matters, he does it once himself — then hands over with a ghost finger showing you the gesture, and waits. Your first real try writes one memory row (“You learned archery.”), and while that row lives he never nags you again. Forget the row and he'll offer to show you once more. Anytime, ••• → Show me how replays a lesson.

This page is the written version of every lesson — for when he's not in your pocket.

Talking to him

Conversation is where his memory comes from. Tell him things and he decides what's worth keeping — you always see what he kept.

  1. Tap him and type — talk to him the way you'd text a friend.
  2. Tell him something worth keeping ("my sister's birthday is Friday", "I start the new job on the 1st").
  3. When he answers, tap the brain icon in his bubble — the memory card shows what he kept and when you told him.
  4. ••• → Memory shows everything he knows; Forget removes any row, forever.

Reading the receipt

Every memory carries its receipt — the date and the source — so he can never claim to remember something you didn't say.

  1. Open ••• → Memory: every row he keeps, newest first.
  2. Each row shows when it was made and where it came from ("You told me on Sep 21").
  3. Tap a row to see the full card; Forget removes it — he will never bring it up again.
  4. Correct him in conversation and the correction becomes the memory; the old row retires.

Tricks

Ask, and he performs. He knows a handful of verbs — morphing is the crowd-pleaser — and any dance you teach him becomes one more.

  1. Just ask: "morph into a ball" (or an egg, a capsule, a cube, an arrow, a tower…).
  2. The flashlight is his: "blink the flashlight three times", or spell a word in Morse.
  3. "Purr" and "heartbeat" are buzzes you can feel.
  4. A taught dance is a trick too — name the song and he performs the routine.

Teaching a dance

Pick a song, show him a routine of taps and swipes on its beat, and that song is his forever — he'll dance it whenever he hears it.

  1. ••• → Teach a dance, then search for a song (he uses Apple Music's 30-second previews — the one-time permission is for exactly this).
  2. He listens to the preview to find the beat (that's the microphone — beats only, on the phone, never recorded).
  3. Show him the routine: taps and swipes, on the beat. That sequence is the dance.
  4. Save it — it lands in his memory as a routine he owns.
  5. Play the song later and watch. Any speaker works: it's the rhythm he knows.

The games — he is the piece

Three arcade classics where he is the ball, the arrow and the roll. Before your first go he walks to the station and plays one round himself — the ghost finger shows the gesture. Then it's your turn.

  1. Tap Play and pick a station — pop-a-shot, archery or skee-ball.
  2. Watch his demo round (or ••• → Show me how to replay it).
  3. The ghost preview shows where your shot will go — trust it.
  4. Score pays coins; coins buy his pets, seeds, crickets and garden plots — his furniture unlocks as you grow close.

Arranging his gym

His home is a big gym with a nook of his own — and it's yours to build. He walks around whatever you put in his way.

  1. In his room, tap Arrange.
  2. Drag furniture anywhere — stations, décor, his nook.
  3. Spin the room to reach every corner.
  4. Coins buy more furniture and LED palettes for his corner.
Arrange mode — the shot comes with the final screens.

The pets

He loves frogs. Along the vivarium wall live his tree frogs, his leopard gecko and his snail — each in a habitat built the way a keeper would build it, because they never share a tank.

  1. Visit the vivarium wall — three habitats, one biome each.
  2. Check what each pet eats: the frogs, the gecko and the snail all have their own food.
  3. Their food grows in the garden (next lesson) — harvest it, then feed them.
  4. Daily care is part of the game: fed pets pay steady coins.

The garden

Out the door is a small garden. What grows there feeds the pets and funds the world — and it grows in real time.

  1. Go out the door from his gym to the garden.
  2. Plant seeds and water them.
  3. Come back — crops ripen on real time, even while the app is closed (his widget and Dynamic Island show the garden).
  4. Harvest ripe crops: food for the pets, coins for you.

Habits — keep your promises

Tell him a promise and he holds you to it, gently: he checks in, he cheers, he remembers the streak. Your word is the proof — or, if you ask him to measure it, what your phone already knows. And a missed day is just a day.

  1. Tell him a promise: "a walk after dinner", "a page a day", "a glass of water before coffee".
  2. He keeps it as a memory and checks in around the time you set.
  3. When you've done it, tell him — or ask him to measure it: your steps, a workout, last night's sleep, your mindful minutes. Measuring is opt-in, promise by promise, and stays on this phone.
  4. Streaks show on his Home Screen widget. Break one and nothing bad happens; he'll be there tomorrow.
